About the Firm
Patterson and Wagner officially began in March of 1992. Ken Patterson and Richard Wagner had worked together for several years as partners in a medical malpractice defense firm which had its principal office in Dallas, Texas. Richard practiced out of that firm’s San Antonio office representing clients in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Ken had a statewide practice but primarily worked out of the Dallas office. The day Patterson and Wagner was formed, Ken and Richard already had significant experience and success in civil litigation.
Patterson and Wagner is now nearing 30 years of consistent success. A substantial amount of the firm’s business is related to medical malpractice defense in one form or another. However, the firm is adept at handling all types of personal injury/wrongful death cases. It is primarily involved in the defense of physicians, but also represents several hospitals, including Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, and Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
